Can I still use mango to travel if I don’t have internet connection?
You can travel offline with mango. You must have an internet connection to first load the qr code, but you will then be able to travel offline for a full 24 hours. We cannot update your balance or travel history while mango is offline, but just remember, if there is a QR code, you can travel.
I've topped up by mistake. What should i do?
If you've accidentally added credit to your account, simply get in touch with our support team, and we can advise you on the refund process. We strongly advise against disputing payments via your bank before contacting us, as this makes it more difficult for us to provide support.
I can’t load a QR code. What's the issue?
To load a QR code, you must ensure you have a positive account balance (1p or more) and must not be using your account to travel on another device. mango has built in security mechanisms to prevent fraudulent activity. As such, you cannot travel on two phones at any given time.
What does the expiry date underneath my qr code mean?
mango has security features to prevent an account from being used by multiple users to travel. When a QR code is loaded, it will lock to your device for 24 hours. If you have bought a new device and need to be able to travel, get in touch with our support team.
My fare is not quite right. What should I do?
All fares are set by the individual operators so we recommend contacting the operator directly if you wish to query a fare.
How can I start gifting credit to my friends or family?
You can choose to gift credit to friends or family from your account balance or directly from your payment card. Gifting requires that both the gift sender and the recipient to have their own separate accounts. You can begin by navigating to the ‘credit’ tab, then to ‘gift credit’. Continue by selecting ‘add giftee’ and following the steps on screen.
I already have an account on the old app. what happens to my balance?
mango makes migration of your account simple. Just login using your account details from the old app, and we'll do the rest.
We will transfer your account balance, personal details, b_line and student statuses if they haven't expired.
